Surrogacy for Married couples

Surrogacy in Russia is allowed for both Married couples and Single parents. Married Couples- In cases of married heterosexual couples, female partner eggs are fertilized with male partner’s sperms and resulting embryos are implanted in surrogate mother. The surrogate mother, also known as gestational carriers, carries the pregnancy for commissioning parents and after delivery baby is given to them. Single Father- In this case, Intended Father uses an Egg Donor eggs. The eggs obtained from egg donors are fertilized with sperms of Intended Father and resulting embryos are transferred in surrogate uterus in hope of implantation. The biological father is to file the Acknowledgement of Paternity at the local ZAGS (Department of Vital Records) before or after the baby’s delivery.
